Who is David Femia
David Femia is the managing Director at Femia and Associates. He began his professional career by being recruited in the graduate program at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). David’s role was wide and varied and predominantly focused on compliance and tax advice to small to medium enterprises.
During his time at the ATO, David realised with his day to day interaction with taxpayers, that there was a growing level of dissatisfaction with their accountants, which is why they relied on the ATO to provide them with the information they needed.
As a result, Femia and Associates was born in order to fill the void that many accountants were not filling. That is, providing clients with the support they need, and most importantly - when they need it.
David’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Business (B.Bus) and a Masters of Accounting (M.Acc) and he specialises in business development, advice and strategy. He enjoys working with clients closely to reach their goals and avoid pitfalls.
